F D Campbell Memorial Library January and February Newsletter

Happy new year to all our members and friends. Have a safe and healthy 2009. Watch for F D Campbell's information in the @ Your Library section of the New Castle News and then participate in our programs. There's something new every week. Many fun activities are planned.

Come to our family movie nights each month. January 10 we will show Snow Buddies. Movies start at 7:00 p.m.

F D Campbell Memorial Library partners with Career Link and we have the test preparation database from Gale. This helps prepare for many national tests, scholarship and college searching. On F D Campbell's website, use the book that says Gale. Use it from home too.

The hours continue to be 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. every day but Sunday and Tuesday when the library closes.

F D Campbell Memorial Library will close for New Year's Day. Have a safe holiday.

Story time is scheduled for the second Saturday of each month @11:00 a.m. That is January 10, and February 14. Call for information. 724-667-7939

Membership is free to all Lawrence County residents and your card gives you access to items in any Pennsylvania library. We can return the book for you. Power Library is available to you on the web. It has a wealth of information and is updated with new databases. On F D Campbell's website, just click on the book Power.

Come to the computer group the last Thursday of each month, 7:00 p.m. If you have questions, we have answers. The next meetings are January 29 and February 26, 2009.

F D Campbell accepts memorials or books in honor of someone. Choose the book or I'll choose one for you. We send a notice to the family so they know of your kindness. For a unique gift idea, donate an item to F D Campbell Library in honor of any special occasion or person.
